Ireland is a member of the European Union but is not part of the Schengen Area. Entry requirements vary by nationality, and most non-exempt travellers require an Irish Short Stay 'C' visa to attend the summit.
- Check whether your nationality requires an Irish visa via the official INIS/immigration guidance.
- Non-exempt delegates should apply for a Short Stay 'C' visit visa at least 8 weeks before travel.
- Registered delegates may request an official invitation letter from the summit secretariat.
- Ireland is outside the Schengen Area — a Schengen visa does not permit entry.
